Program Co-ordinator

Tracey’s varied employment history has allowed her to bring a wealth of experience and skills to her role as Program Co-ordinator at Paw Po. Tracey fosters a warm, welcoming and supportive training centre for migrants, who can then develop the confidence and skills necessary for further participation in the workplace and community. She facilitates training in customer service, sewing and basic floristry. Her eye for colour and design is evident in the new products she develops for the retail space. Tracey is passionate about creating a sense of belonging and  connectedness which will enrich the lives of all participants.

Project Manager

As Executive Officer of the Nhill Learning Centre, Annette has been instrumental in establishing many programs for the local Karen refugee community including English and digital literacy programs, a volunteer tutor/mentoring program, an Australian culture and lifestyle program and a local Job Ready program. In her role as Program Manager of Paw Po Products, Annette is responsible for all aspects related to business development of the enterprise. Annette is passionate about her work and loves being part of the successful settlement of refugees in Nhill.

Tutor

Cathy joined the Nhill Learning Centre team in 2012 coming from a teaching background. She has been involved in English classes, Lifestyle and Job Ready classes as well as preparing students for their Citizenship test. Job Ready was the catalyst for the development of Paw Po where Cathy plays a supportive role in the craft and floristry areas.

Having heard the life stories of the Karen refugees and the hardships they have faced, she is keen to support their transition into their new life in Australia.

Graphic designer/Marketing Coordinator

Kim joined Nhill Learning Centre in 2021 as a graphic designer. She works across both digital and print media, creating brochures, flyers and other content as needed. She also maintains and updates the websites for NLC and Paw Po.

Kim works in a support role at Paw Po, assisting in the areas of floristry, crafts and customer service.
